Guild Code of Conduct
General Guild Conduct
1. Be aware that when you post in forums outside of this one and related to WoW that your guild name is included in the post. Please do not post anything that would be seen as to negatively represent our guild.
2. Please refrain from harassing and excessive spamming on WoW chat systems as appropriate.
3. When you are either in a PUG or are assisting another guild out on its run please remember your actions will reflect on us as a guild, so act in an appropriate manner.
4. FINALLY – Have fun! We are all playing this game for fun. We are not a hardcore raiding guild and wiping in an instance is never fun but do not take it so seriously. Yes, we all hate wiping, but no need to go on Ventrilo and declare failure for the night and be miserable. Relax and have fun.
Guild/Ventrilo Chat
1. Act with maturity.
2. Do not be an incessant beggar on guild chat.
3. Keep profanity at a minimum. One does not need to curse like a drunken sailor in guild chat.
4. Racial slurs/remarks and Sexual Harrassment will absolutely not be tolerated. Offenders can be subject to guild removal.
5. Please avoid direct arguments with fellow guild members. If there is an issue with a fellow guild member please refer it to a guild officer.
6. While on Ventrilo, one shall obey the laws of Push-to-Talk. We most certainly do not want to hear your every cough, sneeze, and other bodily functions through our computer speakers. Failure to comply will result in being removed from Ventrilo chat.
Raiding/Dungeon Rules
1. You will need to meet a minimum gear requirement in order to go to certain instances.
2. Sign up for events. Priority will be given to those who sign up on the website for an event over those who have not.
3. PUG’s
1. PUG party members will be treated with respect – remember the impression we place upon them represents the guild as a whole
2. PUG party members will have as much right to loot as any other member of the guild.
4. Loot drops – Any interested members can roll on an item so long as it is an upgrade. Final say, however, will rest with the guild/raid leader.
5. Any unwanted items will be distributed as seen fit by the group leader/guild leader
6. Any Green’s are fair game for Greed Rolls. If it is an upgrade, then you may roll need for it. Please announce your intentions to need roll prior to the roll so all party members are aware.
7. Ninja looters will not be tolerated. Ninja looters are subject to guild dismissal.
Guild Bank
1. Please make sure you contribute to the guild bank often when you make withdrawals.
2. Do not deposit "worthless" items.
3. Do not withdraw items to sell for yourself. If it is known that someone has done this, it will result in demotion and no bank access.
All guild policies and conduct are subject to change. All changes and additions will be posted here. |
